What costs are involved?
Regular training is paid for by a direct debit system with monthly prices varying depending on how often you train. Contact us for more details. Students are required to pay a small membership fee to cover administration; this is a one off fee of £20. We are fully insured however can also supply students with additional insurance via the British Combat Association. This costs £20 per year and is recommended for regular students.
What should I wear for Training?
Wear a T-shirt, Loose bottoms such as jogging bottoms and training shoes. Specialist uniform is available if you decide to train regularly. All jewellery needs to be removed for safety.
What special equipment is needed?
Groin protection! We can supply these but you are welcome to source your own. As you progress with your training boxing gloves, MMA gloves, shin guards, and gum shields are all very useful to have.
Is training suitable for all ages / conditions?
In a word, yes! A lot of over 40’s, a few over 50’s and even some over 60’s have trained with us. There are specific beginner’s/women’s/kids classes so please see the “Classes” and “Events” pages. Training is suitable for women and we have taught many females. We are very friendly and like to make everyone feel welcome.
WHAT IS THE MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENT?
14 is currently the minimum age to learn Krav Maga with us in adult classes. Kids classes are from 5 and up.
